SibCongress Ltd. organized for ELKOMoscow the BYON-seminar devoted to new models of laptops. ELKO
Moscow is one of the leaders-distributors at the market of East Europe,
CIS and Baltic, and it carried out in Novosibirsk the BYON (Build Your Own
Notebook) seminar devoted to manufacturing mobile computers. 40 experts
of 27 IT-firms of Novosibirsk and Siberian region took part in the seminar.
Intel and Seagate made presentations about their new products.
At the end of the seminar the demonstration of building a notebook from
typical components was organized. More

conference New Mathematical Models in Continuum Mechanics: Definition
and Study. The main organizer of the event was Institute of Hydrodynamics,
Siberian Branch of Russian Academy of Sciences). The conference was hold
in Novosibirsk, Russia. It was the meeting of 120 different specialists
in the above-mentioned field.

representation Sun Microsystems a meeting of top-managers of Sun
Microsystems representation in the region CIS with partners, clients
of the company, and with journalists of Novosibirsk mass-media as well.
During a meeting taken place in the hall of a prestigious hotel Siberia,
the partners, clients and journalists were informed about plans of Sun
Microsystems. They received answers for the questions they were interested
in: Sergey Tarasov, the head of Sun Microsystems representation
in the region CIS, told about politics of the company and its strategy
in the CIS, Andrey Filatov, the director responsible for development of
Sun Microsystems business in the region CIS, said to public about
the plans of development. At the meeting there were more than forty managers
of the Novosibirsk firms, the journalists of Expert-Sibir, Ludi Dela,
